When I was little, my paint brushes were my favorite toys, otherwise I was on my bike, my roller skates or my skateboard, in the little forest where I grew up. Then, I practiced dancing, swimming and the piano in my early childhood and adolescence. As an adult, in parallel with my scientific studies,
I became a fan of running and a enthusiast of modern dance (Jazz, Street dance, Salsa) as a fabulous means of bodily expression. Then, in parallel with my professional activity as an executive in a large Monegasque company,
I tried my hand at theater and I loved this other form of bodily expression of the imagination. I discovered the Pilates method in 2009 following a knee problem and ankle injuries. I very quickly had the intuition that this practice was made for me.
I quickly got rid of my knee brace for running, and I no longer needed physiotherapy sessions for my ankles.
The Pilates method had the effect of an inner mirror on me, which allowed me to know myself better and understand my needs to improve my health and keep in the best possible shape. In addition,
I found the arts in this practice: during lateral and thoracic breathing, the thorax becomes an accordion, and makes its own music while the movements of the repertoire such as the basic steps placed end to end, form a choreography of dance. This method is rooted in the imagination to arouse the sensations that its practice requires: for the duration of one movement, we become a diving swan or a saw, a seal, a crab, an elephant, a monkey, a pulley. cork, a rolling ball…
I started training in the Pilates method in 2011, which lasted two years between training sessions, observations and practice in training centers in Ramatuelle and Nice in various studios. I continue my journey in this magnificent life experience, and today
I aspire to transmit this passion to each of my students, trying to give the most meaning to the path to follow together…
